I am a self-taught artist and definitely a "Mixed Media Maddam"!! I love all things art..acrylic, charcoal, pastels, clay, medal, texture, mosaic..they all seem to find a place in my crazy thoughts! What's really fun is trying to figure out how I can bring all elements together in perfect harmony!!! Background in a pinch....After 16 years working for the state as an auditor..."I know, funny huh?", starring at blank gray prison colored walls, AND using the wrong side of my brain for waaaaay to long....I decided to leave and chase my "TRUE PASSION", a calling, if you may...working as a muralist. I have had the pleasure of "drawing" on many private home walls in the past...but now, I am so privileged to share my art with the public...Life just can't get any better than that!..... I also love to paint on canvas, "Big Canvases", as well...skies the limit, and...cheaper than therapy! It's a personal journey of how I'd paint the world if I could choose the colors! Oh, and now I'm a welder! Playing with fire...scary I know! My first project was a 12" x 14" sheet of rusted metal, an old gate stake entwined by grape vines and painted to imitate patina...loved it...but, not big enough. My second project was an 8 foot tree, "Now We're Talkin'"....next, a 7 foot dancer....self portrait some believe!... Way Fun! I'm also getting into welding my own frames and currently working on a few sculptures that combine my love for metal and canvas!! Fire, steel, canvas, throw in some paint and you have the makings for a GREAT DAY!!! Perhaps my favorite....having the chance to share my visions through workshops for "beginners" and "better"...I love bringing to others, the amazing feeling you get when beautiful shades of paint hit the canvas bringing to life something, that moments before, were just faint images of your own thoughts!!! A colorful, visual diary for all to read! IT'S SO AWESOME! This past year has been an amazing journey! I have met so many interresting and creative souls and can't wait to see what the new year will bring. I have loads of new ideas in my head just waiting to be set free...step back and stay tuned!! Thanks for stopping by...and have a very COLORFUL day! Traci Owens Atmosphere Artist

Beneath every location and institution there lies an untold, nearly forgotten history. It is this historic sense of place that informs our public artwork. The idea of capturing the lost stories and alternative histories, of illustrating the tragic and comic events that give a place its personality continually inspires our work. Many of our projects take the form of relief pieces inset in the ground in series and often serve to bring people together to contemplate what makes their communities and cultures unique. Andrews LeFevre Studios works in most contemporary sculptural mediums in a variety of styles and venues. Located in Manhattan, our studio is equipped with full design, fabrication, finishing and installation capabilities. This means we oversee the production of our work from start to finish, ensuring that both quality and vision are sustained throughout every step. It has always been important to us to maintain a high level of craft, and we believe this commitment is in large part what attracts people to our work.
